7 Drawer Dresser in Cherry
They say that life’s too short to work with ugly wood.
This curly Cherry wood from Hearne Hardwoods and QS (quarter sawn) Sycamore from Groff’s Lumber really came to life with an Osmo Polx matte finish applied. Looking forward to this piece not only providing many years of clothes holding service but also playing into my paranoia about waking up in a bedroom that’s on fire!
104 hand cut dovetails (52 of which are half blind). This is what carpal tunnel looks like!
Top glued up and hand planed.
Pre-Finished final piece.
Custom turned cherry knobs for drawer pulls.
