The design of this blanket chest is inspired by the furniture of the New Lebanon Shaker community. It is crafted from carefully selected boards of old-growth Pennsylvania sweet cherry, reclaimed from the workshop of a former clockmaker in Schuylkill County. The drawer box is constructed from quartersawn hard maple, while the pulls are hand-turned from ziricote.
In addition to the generous storage beneath the lid, a full-width drawer provides convenient access to everyday items, adding versatility without compromising the clean, timeless design.
All hardware is American-made antiqued brass, selected to complement the warmth and character of the wood.
