Shaker Sewing Table in Cherry

You could say I’m a sucker for little tiny drawers! From the first time I saw this little Shaker Sewing Table in Handberg’s book, I knew had to build a version of it. Although the original is in butternut, I opted for local Pennsylvania black cherry for the casework. The drawer fronts are from a spectacular hunk of curly Swiss pear that I found at a local mill. Quartersawn hard maple, eastern white pine (bottoms) and holly (pulls) round out the drawers. This one was a lot of fun to put together!
